How it works

Five steps, start to finish. Nothing gets bought here, and you can stop at any step.

Here's the whole deal in five steps. No fine print, because there's nothing to sell.

  1. Get counted

Answer eight questions with ballpark ranges. It takes about two minutes. No documents, no account, no cost.

  2. Get your Fit Report

You get a free grade right away: Strong fit, Likely fit or Not yet, with plain reasons and one next step. It is an estimate, not a quote.

  3. Your group adds up

You count once, in your trade and region. The map shows how many contractors are in each group and an estimated total, once a group has at least five. Never a name, a company or anyone’s numbers.

  4. When a group gets close, we talk one-on-one

When a group’s estimated total nears the ballpark a captive review needs (about $2.5M a year for Gulf Coast construction), the Hardhat Huddle team reaches out personally. Only then do we ask for real numbers, like your claims history and safety score worksheet, and nothing goes to anyone without your OK.

  5. If it fits, we point you to licensed pros

Groups and contractors that qualify are introduced to licensed people who actually set up and run captives. We don’t sell, place or run insurance, and we never charge you.

What we'll never do

  • Charge you anything, now or later.
  • Show your name, company or numbers to anyone on the map or anywhere public.
  • Ask for documents before your group is close and you've said yes.
  • Sell you insurance or tell you to switch, cancel or buy anything.
